Satago’s CEO, Sinead McHale, tells us what this Accounting Excellence award win means to them.
How does it feel to win Practice Management Software of the Year?
We’re very proud. Especially as these awards are voted for by the accounting community. Satago is committed to helping accountants and their clients manage debtors, avoid risk and access funding when they need to. It’s fantastic to know that the people we make our software for have chosen us to win this award.
How will winning the 2020 Accounting Excellence Award for Practice Management Software impact your firm after a difficult year like this one?
Awards like this one inspire us to continue growing and innovating to ensure Satago carries on serving the needs of the accounting community.
What advice would you give to anyone entering the awards, or thinking of entering the awards next year?
Put your audience first. Listen to what the accounting community wants from your product and aim to deliver it. For example, this year, Satago launched two improvements to our app, a feature which allows users to send automated payment reminders from their own email address and a feature which enables accountants to connect multiple clients to the platform at once. These efficiencies create a smoother experience for the accountants who use our platform and their clients.
What does accounting excellence mean to you?
Accounting excellence means always striving to create the best experience for accountants and their clients. Whether that’s saving them time, providing them with easily accessible insight or helping them grow their firm.
