We talk to Aynsley Damery, Clarity’s CEO, about making a different through the challenges of 2020.

How does it feel to win Best Forecasting, Planning & Analysis Software of the Year?
The whole team at Clarity HQ are over the moon with the news that we’ve won Forecasting, Analysis and Planning Software of the Year at the AccountingWEB.co.uk #AccountingExcellence Awards!

I want to thank all those who’ve supported us over the past year and a bit and of course to all those who voted!

How will winning the 2020 Accounting Excellence Award for Best Forecasting, Planning & Analysis Software of the Year impact your firm after a difficult year like this one?
It’s been such a tough year all round. I’ve been so impressed with all our members and the accounting profession in general. You really have pulled out all the stops for your clients and truly are the frontline for small businesses. This is your night to celebrate and we’re delighted to be there with you!

It’s also been a challenging year for a startup. I’ve been so impressed with the entire team – all looking to see what can be done to help our members, from marketing to dev, resources to member success. And, what can be done to help our own business too. We’ve gone from a whirlwind of events to have to find a digital marketing and sales funnel that works, attempting to cut through the noise and let the world know we exist and that we can make a massive difference to accountants and small business owners.

What advice would you give to anyone entering the awards, or thinking of entering the awards next year?

What does accounting excellence mean to you?
