How does it feel to win Practice Suite of the Year?
It feels amazing! Especially after what has been a testing year – when you’re working within your bubble you’re never sure how you’re perceived by the public.
So to receive industry recognition is a huge achievement for us at Capium. Being a fast-growing start-up, we had one mission to champion accountants through our innovative cloud-based software, so winning Practice Suite of the Year, reassures us that we are on the right track.
How will winning the 2020 Accounting Excellence Award for Practice Suite of the Year impact your firm after a difficult year like this one?
Positively! – that’s for sure. 2020 has both a challenging and unconventional, but since winning Practice Suite of the Year it is now an unforgettable one for good reason. It’s such a rewarding way for the team and the customers who have been on the journey with us to end the year.
What advice would you give to anyone entering the awards, or thinking of entering the awards next year?
Go for it! Being shortlisted, better yet winning an Accounting Excellence award is a great way to validate your product and your company vision. Our advice is to take the chance, believe in yourself, as it was such a pleasant surprise for us to win this year’s award.
What does accounting excellence mean to you?
It is a quality stamp of approval, of what is set out to achieve in the first place, which is producing software that supports and innovates the way accountants work.
