We caught up with Karen Bennett, Head of Sales and Marketing at BrightPay, following their impressive Hero Award win.

How does it feel to win the Hero Award for supplier?

It is an immensely proud moment for everyone at the BrightPay. Our entire team worked hard to implement a COVID-19 response plan that would minimise the stress businesses and firms faced when catering for government schemes. The Covid-19 Hero Supplier is a symbol of recognition and celebrates the commitment and dedication of all our staff across the company.

We would also like to congratulate the other suppliers that were shortlisted for the award. Each and every one of these suppliers have been on the front line going above and beyond the call of duty to help their clients through the difficulties of COVID-19.

How will winning this award impact your firm after a difficult year like this one?

Winning the Covid-19 Hero award truly validates the efforts we made to support our customers in this most challenging year. We would hope this award will give customers the reassurance that we will continue to help, support, and guide them through the ever-changing landscape of COVID-19 and beyond.

What advice would you give to anyone entering the awards, or thinking of entering the awards next year?

Make sure to back up all your statements with evidence, figures, and statistics.

What does accounting excellence mean to you?

To be recognised by such a reputable platform as Accounting Excellence is a real milestone for BrightPay, especially in the current climate of so much uncertainty.
